Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American musician, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. The stage name is the combined name of a beloved uncle with the first name and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his main inspiration Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, as well as a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. Scott also signed a record agreement with Epic and T.I. Scott's first long-form album, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. The mixtape was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the debut studio album. The smash single "Antidote" was the lead track. The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was a top one on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, called Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016) was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and included his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode", featuring Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released late 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It reached the top of the Billboard 200. After his single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the compilation album JackBoys. in the year 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs debut at number one within less than a year.
